Nor Woman Neither at Tristan Bates Theatre – 25th November 2019 – 14th December 2019

This 2 woman dark comedy shows the perils of growing up and womanhood in a world where the pressure to be successful is immense.

Performed by the writers themselves, Ingrid Schiller and Verity Kirk, both RADA Graduates have worked together before, for their RADA final showcase, it was also a dark comedic play about the path women are forced to play in society, due to having to appeal to the people in power – MEN!

Nor Woman Neither is directed by Stephen Doolan, says…

“When first reading Nor Woman Neither I was instantly hooked by the brutally honest, black humour that had been so deftly carved into this comically moving tale,” he says. “The major theme of the play is the idea of how women are surreptitiously manipulated and often coerced by a patriarchal society into following certain paths and patterns of behaviour from childhood onwards.”
